Moises Caicedo is closer to Chelsea than Arsenal.

There is a candidate. The main man is Brighton’s Caicedo. With the departure of N’Golo Kante, Chelsea have been looking for a replacement and Kaysedo is the man for the job. The Ecuadorian is a quality midfielder whose main position is defensive midfielder, so he could be a direct replacement for Kante.
He has already shown promise at a young age. After joining Brighton in February 2021, he spent a half-season on loan to gain experience and was given more playing time in the second half of the 2021-22 season. In 2022-23, he became a regular starter and led the Seagulls to the World Cup in Qatar.
This has led to speculation of a big club move. Arsenal is the main target. The Gunners, looking to strengthen their midfield last winter, approached Kaysedo and kept in touch. He was so keen to join Arsenal that he even took to social media to say goodbye to Brighton fans before it was official. In the end, the deal fell through and he remained at Brighton, but half a year later, the transfer rumors resurfaced.
