Ronaldo’s humiliation excluded from Saudi season’s best 11

Cristiano Ronaldo (38, Alnasr) faced a bitter reality following the failure of the “Meho match” with rival Lionel Messi in Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Arabian Professional League (SPL) Secretariat announced the best Eleven for the 2022-2023 season through social networking services (SNS) on the 8th.

The SPL Secretariat partnered with sports statistics company “Opta” to select the best Eleven by scoring the players’ performance rather than factors such as team performance or titles.

Among the 11 glorious players selected based on the 4-3-3 formation, the striker drew attention.

Odion Igalo (Alhilal), who is considered to 메이저놀이터 have excellent goal determination, was named the front-line striker in recognition of his 19 goals (3rd in scoring) and 2 assists, while Piras Albrican (17 goals and 2 assists) and Murad Batna (10 goals and 7 assists) who led Alpatech’s attack were selected as left and right wings.

Ronaldo, who recently filmed a SPL promotion video with the SPL secretariat, was excluded.

It is also surprising that Ronaldo, who won the Ballon d’Or five times (2008, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017), which is given to the world’s best soccer player, left Europe and played for Saudi Arabia, but he was not even selected as the best Eleven on the stage.

It is regrettable that Ronaldo, who wore the Alnasr uniform last winter, played so well that he was ranked fifth in the overall score of the season (14 goals in 16 matches) even after playing only half a season.

Amid criticism that Ronaldo failed to impress on an important stage in the championship competition, his contribution to the players who played a season seems to have also been pushed back from the competition.
